In this class we will examine the various uses of the labels “organic” and “natural” with a focus on the Standards of the Northeast Organic Farming Association (NOFA). Then we’ll talk about how these practices work in real life gardening. Whether your focus is vegetables & fruits, lawns & ornamentals, or the native plants of our forests & fields, organic gardening methods will work for you. You can enjoy healthy food and a beautiful garden while protecting our environmental legacy.
