We carry out this mission by:
- Educating lawn and landscape professionals about how to care for land organically

- Setting standards (the first in the United States) that define organic land care (Standards)
- Keeping an up-to-date list of lawn and landscape professionals who have:
- Been educated in organic land care and
- Who pledge to provide land care according to our organic standards to any client asking for organic care (Accreditation program)
Who Runs the Organic Land Care Program?
The Organic Land Care Committee, a group of 15 scientists, professional landscapers, and activists, directs the program, and makes the decisions about the Standards, the content of the courses, and the publications.
We also have staff to coordinate the program in Connecticut (Bill Duesing) and in Massachusetts (Kathy Litchfield).
